Net Income BTEL Rp. 2 Trillion

Esia LogoCustomer growth Bakrie Telecom (BTEL) continue to show consistent improvement. It can be seen from the company's performance reports third quarter 2009, in which the number of Bakrie Telecom subscribers reached 9.81 million subscribers.

This growth has increased 49.7 percent over the same period last year. Meanwhile, compared to Q4 08, the number of subscribers Bakrie Telecom for 7.3 million subscribers, or an increase of 34.3 percent.

Growth in the number of subscribers resulted in the company's net income increased 29.8 percent, from Rp 1.5 trillion to Rp 2.0 trillion.

Until the end of September, BTEL service has existed in 76 cities, 21 cities increased compared to last year, only present in 55 cities. The new towns were present during this quarter is Singkawang (West Kalimantan), Mataram (West Nusa Tenggara) and Banyuwangi.
