RIM and LG lead in Mobile Phone Market

LG Mobile PhoneApple iPhone 3G version reached the highest sales for mobile devices during 2009, according to new research by Nielsenwire.

But Apple's achievement is still far behind Research In Motion (RIM) and Sony Ericsson in the overall market share.

Three devices from RIM in the ranks of the ten major mobile device products in 2009.

RIM controlled 6.3 percent of all U.S. phone usage from January to October, while the four sets of LG by 6.4 percent over the market.

At number two in the list of Nielsen, the BlackBerry 8300. LG VX9100 is on it. Other companies on the list is Motorola, the RAZR V3 series in third place and the Samsung Rant in the series in sixth position.
